Bookplates
Made with love and careful thought for family and friends so far, I love the challenge of a bookplate. I have such a tiny space to fill with an image which sums up my recipient, their interests, and ideally their name too. The small size really plays into my love of fine detail, mark making and precise composition.
I’ve loved the block printed bookplates of artists such as Eric Ravilious, William Nicholson, Edward Bawden, etc for as long as I can remember.
