A commission piece for a poetry pamphlet published by Candlestick Press, School Days was designed as a tribute to all of the hardworking teachers, and a memento for those of us old enough to look back on our own school days as a period of our distant past. Making School Days involved many many messages between me and my school and university friends, trying to build up a picture of what a classroom once looked like, what favourite subjects, classmates and teachers we remembered. Those formative days made us the adults we all are today, for better or for worse. The hardest part? Drawing a map of the world accurately in reverse.
