£160.00

A single block print in celebration of the therapeutic joy of wild swimming, titled in tribute to Wendell Berry and the poem of the same name. The Peace of Wild Things marked a habit for many in lockdown: escaping to a nearby waterway and swimming in the cold, refreshing water, alone, and away from the stress and hum of rolling news. The swaying, breezy branches of the trees overhanging the river sets the scene in late spring, when the days are longest but the water is chill with the cold of the fellside rivulets which feed this river. The more you look at this print, the more you will see, from the dipper on a rock admiring his reflection, to the nest in a tree beyond the bridge.
