Distraught following some bad news about the health of my beloved cat, Meg, I carved this sketch of her as she curled up on my lap. The vet’s prediction happily failed to come true, and Meg survived what I thought would be her final weeks with us, and she’s curled up on my lap again as I type this over a year later.
