A reimagination of my popular linocut print Springtime Thrift, cropped to a perfect square. Published by PaperBird, these lovely cards come with a wonderful surprise cut out and keep bookmark on the reverse. Springtime Thrift was made after a trip to the Outer Hebridean Isle of Lewis, where I spent a memorable night sleeping in a bothy on the cliffs of the west coast. The next morning, I sat sketching with the waves crashing way down below, gannets wheeling to their nests, and the indomitable thrift - sea pinks - growing through the cracks in the Lewisian Gneiss rocks all around me.
